I am a HUGE lover of bread pudding! I have never met a bread pudding that
I didn't like...or love!
This one is super easy and super yummy!!!
I promise you will not regret making this one!


3 eggs
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2-1/2 cups 2% milk
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter (melted)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
10 slices whole wheat bread, torn into 1-inch pieces
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar


Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking dish or casserole; set aside.

Beat eggs, granulated sugar, milk, 1/4 cup Butter, vanilla and salt in large bowl with wire whisk. Stir in bread until evenly coated. Turn into prepared dish.

Combine pecans, brown sugar and remaining 1/4 cup Butter in small bowl until blended.

Evenly spoon topping over bread.

Bake uncovered 50 minutes or until set. Serve warm and, if desired, with Vanilla Ice Cream.
